- St Machar Review added: 2017.12.30★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Very poor show. Booked our car in for a MOT retest. Took it in and left it in the morning. Got a call late in the afternoon to say they didn't have time to do it because it needed a full test. Was told it was our fault by the manager, Eilidh. When I pointed out that they had booked it in and allocated the time she said 'I fail to see how that's our fault'!! Called customer services who promised a call back from a regional manager. No call. Called back and escalated a complaint about the centre and the centre manager. They agreed that the centre had messed up and refunded our MOT payment and agreed to pay for another test at a non-Halfords garage. A nice gesture but we were still fully mucked around and put out and spoken to as if we had somehow caused their error. We chose Halfords because we expected decent service and no hassle. Got the complete opposite. We will NEVER use Halfords again.
