- Jens Karschau Review added: 2018.11.06★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Regrettably, I had dealt with Virtue Property as a tennant. From my experience I cannot recommend this company to anybody. The property was given to us uncleaned with a grease covered kitchen; although the property manager at the time claimed that it had been thoroughly cleaned.
The list of inventories was totally flawed such as the conditions of many items being left unrecorded or them being in a non-working condition. I had been promised that items of question would become fixed, however this never happened during the 1.5 years time I leased the property.
I was charged a administration fee - which is clearly stated in Scottish law that it is unlawful - which I am still trying to recover from this company.
There was no trace of my deposit having been held in a secure account - also as Scottish law requires - and I was short changed of the interest that accumulated on my deposit. Virtue Property simply ignored my messages that I would like to receive a detailed accounts summary to clarify circumstances.
In my opinion all this is not befitting for a trust worthy letting agency, and sadly it can survive within the Aberdeen rental market with all so many cowboy landlords and agencies.
